Please read these terms carefully before using TreatPatient
Registration & Information
As part of the clinic subscription and the registration of doctors, staff, and owners to TreatPatient, certain information is required, including personal data and doctor registration certificates.
All statements in these Terms apply to all Practitioners, who are requested to read and understand the privacy statements prior to submitting any data to TreatPatient.
Use of Practitioner Information
Practitioner personally identifiable information provided to TreatPatient is used to help Practitioners describe and identify themselves. You will be the owner of your information and only with your consent will TreatPatient collect, use, process, and/or disclose the information for the purposes stated herein, including:
- Publishing such information on the Website
- Publishing such information on the application
Listing of Practitioners
TreatPatient automatically enables the listing of Practitioners' information on its Website/Application for every doctor added to a clinic using its software. Any personally identifiable information listed is provided by Practitioners themselves. TreatPatient displays such information on an as-is basis, making no representation or warranty on its accuracy or completeness. Practitioners are strongly encouraged to check and update their information regularly.
Liability & Responsibility
TreatPatient shall not be responsible for the authenticity of personal information or sensitive personal data supplied by the Doctor. Clinic owner or management will be responsible for the same.
TreatPatient is not responsible for any interactions between the Patient and the Practitioner/doctor in the clinic/hospital. The credibility of the doctor must be verified by the clinic management itself.
Electronic medical records of clinic ownership are only with the owner of that particular clinic in the TreatPatient platform and will not be shared with any other clinics of different owners. Linsys Innovations, who maintains the TreatPatient software, is responsible for data privacy.
Any wrong medication or quality of treatment given by the Practitioner(s) or any medical carelessness will be liable to the clinic/hospital management, not TreatPatient.
Changes in fees charged, cancellation, and rescheduling of booked appointments are the complete responsibility of the Hospital Management, not TreatPatient.
Data Collection
TreatPatient may collect information relating to the devices by which you access the Website or application and anonymous data of your usage. These will be used for providing better services.
The Website or application allows TreatPatient to access registered Users' email or phone numbers to communicate with them.
Account Responsibility
TreatPatient shall not be liable for the authenticity of personal information or sensitive personal data presented by the User. The User is responsible for keeping the confidentiality of their account access information and password. The User shall be liable for all usage of their account and password, whether or not authorised by the User, and shall instantly inform TreatPatient of any actual or suspected unauthorised use.
Limitation of Liability
TreatPatient will not be involved in giving any healthcare or medical opinion or judgment and hence is not accountable for any intercommunications between the User and the Practitioner. TreatPatient will not be liable for:
- User intercommunications and associated concerns with the Practitioner
- The ability or intent of the Practitioner(s) in fulfilling their obligations towards Users
- Any wrong prescription or quality of treatment furnished by the Practitioner(s), or any medical carelessness
- Unsuitable treatment or similar challenges suffered by the User due to negligence on the part of the Practitioner
- Any misconduct or inappropriate behaviour by the Practitioner or the Practitioner's staff
- Cancellation or no-show by the Practitioner, rescheduling of a scheduled appointment, or any variation in fees charged
Health Records
TreatPatient may provide End-Users with a free facility known as 'Records' on its mobile application. The information accessible in your Records is of two types:
- User-created: Information provided by you or created through your interaction with TreatPatient, e.g. an appointment
- Practice-created: Health Records created by your communication with a Practitioner
Any Practice-created Health Record is presented on an as-is basis at the sole intent, risk, and responsibility of the Practitioner. TreatPatient does not validate the said information.
It is your responsibility to maintain your correct mobile number and email ID in the Records. TreatPatient is not answerable or liable for any content, fact, Records, medical deduction, or language used in your Health Records. Your Practitioner is completely responsible and liable for your Health Records.
TreatPatient will follow the law of the land in case of any legal court or jurisdiction orders to share Health Records for any reason.
Registration Information
As part of the registration process, you may be required to furnish personal information including:
- Full name
- Email address
- Mailing address
- Contact number
- Password
- Age
- Blood group
Once you have completed the registration process, you will be a registered member of the Website or Mobile App and agree to be bound by these Terms.
Payments
TreatPatient may require the User to pay with a credit card, UPI, debit card, or Netbanking for Services for which subscription amounts are payable.
